Just Twilight and Rainbow being eggheads together ;)


So, I definitely think I have improved my background, right? Now I need to improve my light sources XD

When I sketched this picture up, I first wanted to draw Twilight and Pinkie reading together, but I changed it into Rainbow since I thought that would be more fitting ^^

EDIT: there were someone who wrota a critique on this one, but when I was removing other messages from my inbox I accidently removed the critique message. I hope the person who wrote it sees this. If you want you can rewrite it. But in any case I remember what you said and what I should improve. I'm really sorry

So Twi decided to read a Daring Do story to Rainbow Dash rather than let her read it herself?

Question: Does that pony doll RD's holding have a name? Is it anybody we know?

Must say I do like the styling. :)

I've heard someone else say the doll RD is holding is Daring Do. Is that who it is?

Don't know if I said this before, but I like the styling of the image. :)

So RD's switched from a Spitfire or Soarin doll to a Daring Do doll. :)

If you wanted to keep that crit, here it is:

This is beautiful. I really enjoy how you drew both of their faces. They're drawn in a style I don't see so much. Wonderful! Your shading is marvelous as well. I love the amount of shine you've put into their manes. The proportions are very nicely done as well. You've practically mastered that factor in this picture. The setting in Twilight's library is pretty spot on and gives the picture a relaxing look. I just adore the overall calmness this picture gives off, what with both ponies enjoying the book. Is Twilight reading to Rainbow Dash? If so, that's another bonus. It's very adorable. This picture is beautiful and I hope I wasn't TOO soft with this critique XD; I guess I could say that the only thing MILDLY noticeable is the ladder in the background. I feel as though it should have more texture to it, just as the ponies do in the foreground. Other than that, I'd say this is a very wonderful picture and I hope you keep drawing~! Practice backgrounds more (even though you're VERY good at them <3) and I look forward to writing more of these for you!
